There’s still time to be part of the 2019 Greene County Reads program.
Discussions of The Home for Unwanted Girls, a Canadian #1 Best Seller for seven months, will be held Thursday, April 11. All county libraries have copies of the book available for check-out.
Author Joanna Goodman will join in the discussions via Skype. The local discussions will be led by retired East Greene English teacher Jan Scharingson.
Discussions will be held at the Churdan public library at 9 am, the Rippey public library at 2 pm, and Marchant Memorial Library in Scranton at 7 pm.
The annual book discussions are free and open to the public. They are a cooperative project of the Greene County libraries, made possible by funding support from the Greene County board of supervisors. Light refreshments will be served.
